Untitled; mixed / wet media
A more tactile approach to graphic arts which I certainly preferred... Images applied to board using a now defunct form of photo chemical transfer, then over-layed by an unhealthy amount of blood splatter. This project piece was concept art for a book cover to the warm and loving George Orwell classic, ANIMAL FARM.

This tasty little guy was drawn completely from scratch using Adobe Photoshop. Used for a Design/Marketting project consisting of a some kind of product-fusion between birth-control and a Smartie...

Untitled; mixed media
Mixed media portrait of my late grandmother. It's exploding with deep meaning and symbolism not fit for public consumption. This ultimately became my final grad piece, and was exhibited for 3 weeks at the Lieutenant-Governor's House in Fredericton NB. Other portraits of our Mamere can be found throughout the photography galleries.

Andrew Wyeth study; Dry media

Andrew Wyeth study, as directed by the brilliant and acclaimed Atlantic artist, Mr. Rick Burns. Rick was clear that the purpose of his class would be step out of our boundaries, and focus on facets outside our comfort zone. As I was very much enjoying the work, and loving how the piece was coming out, I shouldn't have been surprised he insisted I cease progress on it immediately, and move on to his next task... I came to suspect he took some perverse pleasure in denying my need to leaving a piece unfinished. It was shortly after this that Rick Burns passed away very suddenly, which impacted all those who knew him. I still have this piece in my collection, which as per his orders, remains unfinished..

Creative Drawing assignment - create an ORIGINAL piece, in the style of a chosen artist. I obviously based my study off Gary Larson's FarSide Gallery. The joke was written to amuse my grandfather.

Original concept art for a fun 'stickman' version to the 1999 classic, The Matrix.

Stage 2 of concept art for a fun 'stickman' version to the 1999 classic, The Matrix.

Stage 2 of concept art for a fun 'stickman' version to the 1999 classic, The Matrix.

Final storyboard for my stylized parody on the 1999 epic film, The Matrix. At some point during my studies, I experienced a major computer failure, resulting in some work files being lost. The pieces displayed here are unfortunately all that exist from this project.

'All The Pretties' custom jewelry produced by my wife Christa (who can be seen very frequently in the photography section). Items are hand-made, designed by Christa, or made to custom request.
